Hey y'all
It's been another great week! So much happened. So Thursday we went to go see one of our investigators to drop of a large print bible so we parked in the drive way. She wasn't home, so we went to leave and the car wouldn't shift into reverse. We tried a few things nothing happened. It just kept rolling closer the house. Then we called the elders they didn't answer... so we tried Elder Cole he is over vehicles in the mission no answer. So we called a member in the ward Sister Shepard her husband is a mechanic. She came and tried a few things then the car made a loud noise and went caput. So the elders came and we pushed the car to the side of the road. Elder Cole got a tow truck to meet us later. He was just surprised because it's a 2014 Chevy cruise!
Sister Shepard took all the missionaries to lunch. That was so nice of her. We met the tow truck after then went to the dealer. They weren't the nicest people ever. We left to do something, came back, nothing new, so we left to do missionary work and realized my comp gave them our apt key so we went back a 3rd time and they were not happy. It's official I don't like chevy's very much.
So on the coldest day of winter so far we walked to the hospital to visit Bro Ware in the hospice. It was great because we had a potential investigator we've been trying to see stop and talk to us so we could get their number and set up a time to teach them. We found out that the transmission went out in our car and they won't be able to look at it until Tuesday. Saturday the zone leaders called and told us we're getting the phoenix city elders car until our's get's fixed. It's a 2015 Toyota Corolla! We went to see Bro Ware again on Saturday and he passed away 45 min before we got there.
I'm so grateful for this gospel and for the plan of salvation. He is now at peace not struggling and tired anymore. He was a great man, who loved the gospel so much!
Sunday we were able to have a baptism for Elisha Mata, he is 9 years old and so excited to be baptized. I loved being able to teach and get to know him and his great family. He learns so fast and such a great testimony! I love seeing the gospel change peoples life's have the light of Christ come into their life! I love being a missionary!
Thanks for all your love and support!

Hey y'all,
It's been a great week! We had ZTM (zone training meeting). I learned so much! One thing that I liked was first 5! Try and contact the first five people we see! My district did a skit and it was so funny! It was about how to spend your money wisely. We had a blast doing it!
My companion Sister Curtis and I had a crazy hair party one night after a long day! Our hair was... well, It was a hot mess! We had a lot of fun. I love having her as my companion. She is so patient, really wants to work hard and help all those around her. For our district photos we each got a stuffed dinosaur! We took pictures of them wearing our name tags, it was fantastic!
A member from Warner Robins, Bro Ware is in the ward now. It's great to see him again. He is such a great example to those around him. He loves missionary work and helping in any way that he can. When we first visited him he wanted us to teach all his neighbors. He's not doing well and is in the hospice. We went to go see him, he was stressed and wanted a blessing so while we waited for them to come we sang hymns to him and the spirit was so strong. That moment I knew that we're all children of our heavenly father who loves us so much! No matter who you are or what you look like, he loves us no matter what. I was able really to feel that love he has for Bro Ware. It was a great spiritual experience. I will never forget that! I'm so grateful for the chance to serve a mission. For all the experiences I've had and the amazing people I've been able to get to know. I know that I'm becoming more of what my savior wants me to be. Sometime it may not be easy but it's worth it. I'm grateful for all of my experiences to learn and grow. I feel an added strength to get over the hard times. I love when I'm able to better help others get through their trials because of those experiences. Also being able to look back and see Heavenly Fathers hand in my life, how he helped me through. I love being a missionary!
Thanks for all your love and support!

Hey y'all,
It's been a great week. So much has happened. I just love it here! Last P-day we went to Oxbow Meadows. We had a lot of fun! It was a little cold but it worked out! After we went to dunkin donuts, so that was yummy!
Wednesday we had interviews with President Cottle. Those are always great. It was fun to see them! This weekend we had Stake conference. I learned so much. Plus President and Sister Cottle were there so that was fun. Some things I learned from it are:
Sometimes we have trials and we can't see the world around us so we need glasses/prescription=Holy Ghost to help us see the world around us in a new way.
The people around you are a gift, they matter, take care of them. Focus more on the people not the calendar.
The temple is such a special place we need to go often. We'll receive blessings.
Be patient with Heavenly Father and his timing. He wants us to succeed. Sometimes those trials we think take us away from him can actually, if we let them, be the very things that bring us closer to him. Like one of my favorite scriptures Ether 12:27
I'm so grateful for meetings like ward and stake conference. I can't wait for general conference! To be able to hear from prophets to help us come unto Christ. Thanks for all your love and support!

It was so good!  We had exchanges with the sister training leaders Wednesday to Thursday. I stayed in Columbus this time and my comp left. Wednesday night a member gave us some Brazilian food, The Spanish Elders had some free frosty coupons. That was fantastic! That was great! Plus we were on campus Thursday and got a bunch of potential investigators. The work is going great, so much is happening. Sunday we had 4 investigators at church, that was awesome!  I love being a missionary! Thanks for all your love and support. Make it a great week!
