Hey ya'll,
It's been a fantastic week here in Albany GA! The weeks go by so fast, so much happens. Last Monday I had my hair braided with some hair I bought, Kawajaylne's sister did it for me. Kawajaylne is a recent convert. It took around 3 hours. It was a lot of fun to have my hair like that and really easy to take care of it. I had long hair again so I could do so much with it.
We had members take us to different cities close by that are in our area but would take all our miles. We went to Damascus! So we had to take pictures! it was great to get to the members while we traveled from different places. We're able to deliver the bibles and contact a bunch of referrals. It helped us to reach our goals we had made for the week!
We went to the relief society activity Alex and Susan came. They had a lot of fun! It was great to have them meet more of the members. Members can make such a difference in the work by helping them feel involved, and loved. It's the last week in the transfer It went by fast! I know this next week will be great! I hope ya'll have a happy 4th of July! Did you know that Amuleck was converted on the 4th of July? Talks about it in alma  10:6
"Nevertheless, I did harden my heart, for I was called many times and I would not hear; therefore I knew concerning these things, yet I would not know; therefore I went on rebelling against God, in the wickedness of my heart, even until the fourth day of this seventh month, which is in the tenth year of the reign of the judges.
I read that recently and thought it was good! Thanks for all your love and support! Make it a great week!

hey ya'll,
So this week has been so fantastic! We were supper busy and worked really hard so we're able to reach a lot of the goals we set! Plus we've been trying all sorts of food! so Monday we ate the chocolate covered crickets, and boiled chicken feet. That was interesting not my favorite. I'd eat the chocolate covered crickets before the chicken. Sunday we tried pickled pigs feet, it was okay. With all of this I feel like I went to a different country, it's awesome! I also had sweet potatoe casserole for the first time... amazing! Georgia is the best!
Wednesday we went to Edison one of the outer cities in our area. A member gave us a ride so that we wouldn't us all of our miles. Sister Sorensen is the best! We had a lot of fun! We were able to see the person wanted the bible. She had been out of town until that morning. She was surprized we came the day she got back. We were also able to visit a few others members in the area that we aren't able to normally. That night then Bro Cartmell gave us matching water bottles to stay hydrated when we're walking that was so nice of him! He also teaches the book of Mormon class on Wednesdays! We have some other members that are going to help us again this week. They are so helpful here. It definilty makes the work so much better when they get involved.
Friday we were able to go up to girls camp for a few hours. I was able to see some girls from one of my last area's Valdosta, it was the best thing ever! I just love them so much! We had planed to go up didn't even know they're going talk about missionary work. So when we showed up they were super excited, it all worked out really well! It was a ton of fun getting to know the girls in the stake and talk about missionary work and experiences they've had. It helped me get excited about this great work. I just love being a missionary! Thanks for all your love and support! Make it a great week!

Hey ya'll
It's been a great week! it went by so fast! So my companion got a package from her uncle and it had sardines in it. So I tried them with crackers for the first time ever... not bad! They were interesting. Next week... chocolate covered crickets! We shall see how this goes! Normally I would say I can't wait but this time I think I can actually.
We've been going through some old referrals and we contacted one of them her name is Donna. Normally she works at that time but she decided to take the day off. Which just happened to be the same day we came, blessings! She had never met with missionaries before. So we started teaching her and she is so open to the message. We're going to meet with her again this next week!
We also have been able to meet a few less active members and get to know them more. There are some pretty great people here who have been through so much. One lives in our same apt complex so that makes visiting her easier. Especially when we're low on miles and have to walk. We wanted to walk to the church for book of Mormon class Wednesday, we felt like we should just drive and it's a good thing we did! After class we came out and it was poring rain! We ran to the car and got completely soaked! Can you imagine what would've happened if we walked there?! I'm so glad we didn't walk.
Sunday was just fantastic, I love Sundays! Yesterday we had 3 investigators at church! Our normal Sunday routine, we get up and ready call our investigators to make sure they're up and getting ready and they're ride is set still. We remind them to come to church with a question in mind. Sometimes we have meetings with ward council. We get to church early to meet and get to know the members better. Cedric came he's been telling us he would come since I've been here and he did! Alexandra came she's been pretty regularly for the past few weeks. She is on date for the 27th of June with her sister Susan. They want to make sure they're ready for baptism, which is such a great thing! After church we had a few great member present lessons. They make such a big difference in the way the lessons go. Before my mission I never realized how much a difference members can make in conversion. I know now that it makes all the difference in helping them understand and feel loved. I love being able to see people progress in the gospel. To see them make those changes in their lives to come closer to Christ and strengthen their faith. Missionary work is the best! Make it a great week! Thanks for all your love and support!

Hey ya'll
It's been a great week here in Georgia! It went by so fast! so last p day we went to chehaw and we had district come with us and a family the Goodmans! We were trying to figure out how we were all getting in and who was paying who was using the the free passes. The lady was so confused that she just let us in for free! It was the best! We got to feed some of the animals there, they were a wake and moving around. It was a lot of fun!
Tuesday we had Zone conference in Tifton, we had car inspections... we totally passed just sayin! It was a great meeting! I learned so much from all the different training's. One was sad though. Saturday some sister missionaries in the north Atlanta mission got in a car accident. So we went over vehicle safety. Sister Cottle gave a training on using the Book of Mormon, they gave everyone a copy of the Book of Mormon with our names on the inside. They challenged us to read it by next Zone conference and mark Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Holy ghost, & Endure to the end in a different color. I'm excited to read and look for the doctrine of the gospel of Jesus Christ!
After Zone conference we did exchanges with the sister in Hazelhurst. Some of our appointments feel through but we we're able to see other people and it all worked out great! We were able to see some part member families that are usually are gone all the time. We stopped by a less active part member family and her husband was home. He's not a member and usually leaves when we come. He told us that she was a sleep and to call later. I decided to share a scripture with him real quick and asked his thoughts. He was real open to talking about it and shared some of his feeling about it. He said that he will share his testimony on some of his experiences he's had about it the next time we come. I know that the Lord has a plan for each of us and I love being able to see that in others life's as they come closer to Christ. They become happier and you can see the light of Christ come into their eyes.
The next day she asked me to cut her hair before we exchanged back, so we took a some time during lunch. It was a great exchange I learned so much and we had a blast! We're been trying to save miles in our car so we've been walking more and we walked past this park and saw this huge baseball glove! it's pretty cool! My companion is so awesome we have a lot of fun together! make it a great week!

Hey Y'all,
It's been a fantastic week here in Georgia! We let the Elders borrow our car to get groceries so we walked their bikes to the apt. They felt bad and traded us back about half way though. We're running low on miles for our car this month so we've been walking a lot more. It's all good. It's easier to contact people on our way & take random pictures of cool things we see. The Elders made us cookies... They didn't turn out so well so we took pictures and one bite to be nice. We're going to the Chehaw Zoo today as a district! They have alligators there! We have Zone conference tomorrow. After we'll go on exchanges with the sisters in Hazelhurst. We have a lot of set appts this week so that should be good!
We were able to see some of our investigators we haven't been able to get a hold of for a few weeks. Plus we got in contact with some former investigators too & we're going to start teaching them. I was reading one of Elder Perry's talks Saturday to use for my talk on Sunday. So I thought it was cool that I happened to be reading it and used his words the day after he passed away. Sunday we walked to see one of our investigators and we read 2 Nephi 31 with him. Right as we finished the last chapter it started to storm so we started to walk back to our car. We thought it was going to rain hard so we made a video on the way. It was okay until we got to our car and then it rained hard. It was such a blessing we made it there before it really started raining.
I just love my companion Sister Smith! She is a great missionary and a lot of fun to serve with! She works hard and wants to be obedient! I'm learning so much from her! I know this will be a great transfer! Thanks for all that your love and support!
