Hey y'all,
It's been a great week! We were able to meet sister Applewhite. Audrey came with us. It was a great visit. We were really able to get to know her. She is so sweet. We went to the lol(little old lady) luncheon. It was a lot of fun. The ladys are so sweet, we went to applebee's. We had dinner with the Slingers. They feed us every wednesday. It's now become one of my favorite days of the week because we also have book of mormon class later that night.
This wednesday is my YEAR MARK! since I've been here in Georgia. That's going to be exciting!
We met with Elisha. We're going over the new member lessons. It's fun to teach him.
We meet with bro Moore to teach him his last few lessons before his baptism. He was baptized on Saturday! It was such an amazing experience to be part of their journey. That's one step closer to being able to be sealed in the temple.  While they changed I played the piano, my arrangment of "My Kindness Shall Not Depart From Thee", and "Come thou fount". It went really well. We indeed did sing Angels we have heard on high. I did my best to sight read it. The closing song was follow the prophet, Keegan's their son, it's his favorite primary song!
After the baptism my comp and I went to la national, a mexican resturant. A member in the ward owns it and so missionaries can eat for free we just need to leave a tip. It was so good! Later we were able to see sis Applewhite again. After then we went to the General womens broadcast. They had it over at the stake center with treats before it started.  I loved being able to watch it. The talks were so fantastic! I reallly liked President Eyering's talk. I learned so much, plus the srcipures he used were some of my favorites! It made me more excited for General Conference this weekend. This will be my last one in the mission. Which is so weird to think about! Also I'm excited about this easter season, to think about Jesus Crist and what he did for us. A year ago I was just a new missionary. They had come out with the video because of him. Which is one of my favorites! Now they have because he lives! It's got a website and everything just like he is the gift. I hope that you share it with all those around you. I know it will bless their life!
Sunday I straigthened my hair. I looked so different! Also Bro Moore was confrimed a member of the church and the spirit was so strong. As he was walking back you could tell by the look on his face that he was just in awe of it. It's something I'll never forget. How the gospel can really change peoples lives. We truly can become more like our savior. I'm so grateful for that knowledge and also for my savior and all that he did for us. And all we can now do because of him. I feel so blessed to be able to share that with others. I know that it is true, that it's because he lives.

 Hey y'all,
This has been a great week! I loved zone conference and training. I learned so much and I'm excited to be able to apply it to missionary work. I know that great things will happen this transfer, and I'm excited to be a part of it.
We had a few lessons with Brother Moore, he is on date to be baptized on the 28th of April. The more he learns he gets so excited for his baptism! I know that he will do great things in the gospel. Sometimes we'll be teaching him and he'll say, "That's hard! but it's worth it to be with my family". He was talking about baptism and how it is a step to being sealed to his family in the temple. He is so excited for it, that is his main goal!  I know that is so important, I'm so grateful to have that knowledge and to be able to share it with others. To help them know that death isn't the end. Families are forever as we live worthy of those covenants/promises we make.
We went to see a less active older lady Sister Hall. We've been trying to find out what her concerns are but nothing has been working. We know that she's been struggling with a few things but we weren't sure on what exactly. So we prayed to be able to know what her concerns are.  We decided to read a chapter out of the book of Mormon. Once we got in there though we read the introduction instead. We asked her one question and and at first she was hesitant and guarded. She had told us that once she get's her concerns resolved she'll come back to church. I felt impressed to express to her our purpose as missionary's and how we're here to help her come unto Christ. It was like a light switch came on and she was able to tell us her concerns. We were able to ask questions to find out her understanding and help her with scriptures to resolve the concerns she had. The spirit was there in the lesson, I felt the saviors love for her so strong. I know that the holy ghost was able to help us remember scriptures she needed. I found one that didn't apply to her at all and book marked it for some reason... not sure why.
She is such a fantastic lady. She makes dolls for people and she gave us each one of the dolls she made.
A few weeks ago it was getting closer to 9 pm and weren't sure which less active we were going to visit. We felt like we should visit the Edwards, Sis Edwards is a little older German lady, she is so sweet and loves to laugh. She was surprised by our visit. She kept asking who told us to come by? over and over... Nobody we just felt like we should. She said that the missionaries said the same thing the first time she met them. She asked a question and the scripture I book marked earlier was able to answer her question! Her home teachers visited her the next day, and told us that our visit really helped. She wants to start coming back to church. Also that her grandsons aren't members and would like to know more about the church.
We received a referral to stop by a member's nephew's house. His name is Will, and at first we thought he was less active but he isn't a member. So we started teaching him.  He's been very open to and excepted the lessons and came to church. He really liked the fellowship and even participated in the lessons. He is also coming to the Book of Mormon class on Wednesday. It's been great to see his progress over such a short amount of time. We've been able to update her on his progress a long the way, I loved seeing how much of a difference it make to work with her. How important to keep people up to date with information.
We were knocking on doors last night. Our goal for that day was 3 and we only had 2 so far. There was a house we'd been to so many times and nobody answered we felt like we should save that for last, as we were knocking some of them were mean! We just kept pushing forward so as we were about to leave we went to knock the house. This guy answered and we just started teaching him and at the end we put him on date for baptism! We think that he'll be great friends with our other investigator Will. Plus there are a few people who just got home from there missions to be able to come to lessons and fellowship them.
I know that heavenly Father has a plan for everyone, and I love seeing how it all works together.  I'm so grateful to be here in this area, and to be a part of this great work! Thank you for all your love and support.
Make it a great week!

Hey y'all,
This week has been so fantastic! I have a new Companion, Sister Emily Ann  Chidester! She is from Sacramento California. We were companions in the MTC. It's super exciting to be companions with her again.  I am learning so much from her. She is a great missionary. Plus we can now celebrate our year mark together. A year ago on the 19 of march we became companions at the mtc! It's great to see how much we've learned and have grown from our different areas, companions, and experiences. I know great things will happen this transfer and I'm way excited! We done some much already in just one week! Missionary work is the best!
The members here are fantastic, they love missionary work, helping us out when we need it. So our car has been in the shop getting a new transmission. We got a ride from Sister shepherd to get it back on wed morning and that night we were driving home and got off the interstate and into the left turning lane and got something in our tire we thought we got a flat so we pulled into the Methodist church parking lot. we weren't sure what to do so we called the elders, and got voice mail so we called some members. Sister cottle called us and we told her and President Cottle the situation. We made it home, Sister Shepherd a member was able to have bro Shepherd come over and change our tire! it turns out we got a tire weight stuck in our tire, So we had to get a new tire!
I really love this area and all the people here. We have someone on date for the 28 of march. His name is Bro James Moore, he works for the military. He is so excited to be baptized so that he can be sealed with his family. He has lots of great questions which makes lessons a lot of fun. I love being able to see that change that happens to people as they come closer to Jesus Christ. Thanks for all your love and support, ya'll fantastic!

It's been a great week! My companion is getting transferred tomorrow. I am going to miss her. This means that I'll be taking over the area now... don don don! There is a little girl in the ward who was baptized a few weeks ago. She said she'd be my new companion! She told Sister Curtis that she was fired. That she would take over from here. Her dad said it was a little earlier then planned. We went to Sonic as a district to get shakes but then we realized how cold it was so we went to Burger King to eat them!
I was able to attend the memorial for Brother Ware. It went really well, his family came. I remember the last time we were with him he said the closing prayer! I didn't know him very long. With the kind of person he was you didn't need to know him very long to know of his love of the gospel and those around him. It was easy to love him because like the Savior he first loved us. He was a great man and will be missed by all those who knew him. I was also able to see some of my ward family from Warner Robins. It was great to see them and talk about the area and see whats new. It's nice to be remembered for all the hard work you do and then be able to hear about all the good that's come because of it. One of my investigators was baptized on Saturday. She has been struggling to quit smoking for a over a year and was finally able to do it! A year ago she wanted to get baptized with her husband but couldn't quit. Now he was able to baptize her! It all worked out for the best! I love being able to look back and see the Lords hand in my life and those around me. It helps me remember that he has a plan for each of us to help us reach our full potential! I love being a missionary! Make it a great week!
